Eames Lounge Chair Found. Ish.

A reader/friend who-will-remain-nameless sent me a link last night to an excellent deal on an Eames lounge chair, per my earlier post/searches.  A deal!  Only $325.00 for the good looking reproduction!  Too good to be true?

As are most things in life, it indeed is too good to be true, or at least for $325.00.  The measurements are provided in centimeters.  It is the size of my iphone. 

Imagine my shock and awe if I had received a tiny package, containing the most swingin' piece of dollhouse furniture around! 

Sorry, we both had to share this "LOL" moment of the morning.

    That is a LOL moment! I'm imagining you taking a sick day to stay at home and wait for your Eames chair to arrive only to have the UPS guy leave an envelope at the door.

    I have been thinking about your Eames conumdrum since you posted about it, and after sitting in one over the weekend at the Room and Board showroom in Minneapolis, I have to say WAIT! It was incredible, and I think worth waiting for.

    Plus, it's good to be a girl with a goal, right?!?!

    You know I saw that when you first posted about it and was considering buying it for you as a joke then saw the price!!! $325 for what is essentially doll furniture!!! Alas, sadly I don't have that kind of disposable income.

    that is hilarious. I must say that our mutual friend, Allison, has an Eames chair and it the most comfortable chair ever, plus it looks absolutely stunning. Wait for the real thing, sister.

    Hilarious! Also fascinated thinking, "who would spend so much on dollhouse furniture, and mcm designer furniture at that?" Um, duh, I'm sure this is a best seller at one of the many shops in Palm Springs that also sells porcelain ballerinas and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia!
