Out with the old, in with the new??
Are you planning to switch signs, baby? Here are the new signs with the respective dates.
Capricorn: Jan. 20 - Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16 - March 11
Pisces: March 11- April 18
Aries: April 18- May 13
Taurus: May 13- June 21
Gemini: June 21- July 20
Cancer: July 20- Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10- Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16- Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30- Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23- Nov. 29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29- Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17- Jan. 20
In addition, I will perhaps have to purchase this guy for my soon-to-be little chick pea in lieu of the "Aquarius" one. Nope, not because he or she is necessarily arriving a bit earlier, but rather, because his or her sign has apparently changed...

Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Call me orthodox, but I liked it the old way.

i agree - i prefer the old break out. i was on the cancer/leo cusp, so i can see a little bit of myself in both signs, but i have a few friends, mostly "former" scorpios, that are definitely scorpios, no two ways around it. so, here's to the old break out. and believing whatever you want to believe about yourself! p.s. - love the j.a. pillow!
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaccckkk... what do you mean I'm not a Scorpio any more but a Virgo? Who are they kidding. I'm not calm!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with the "new" signs?? I just read a little bit about it but how can "they change" it? Who is "they" anyway???
ReplyDeleteUm, you know I have an opinion on this, and I was calling bull shizz when I saw something on this a few days ago! Not to fear, according to this article, the change only affects you if you follow Easterm Vedic astrology, which is based on star positions, as opposed to good ole Westerm astrology, which is based on the sun's position. I'm taking this stance!
ReplyDeleteAlright friends, here's the thing with the new signs. Astrology follows the stars and every some odd hundred years the earth shifts in regards to the placement of the stars. This happened a looong time ago, but it was never publicly changed. However, us westerns follow horoscopes, which is different in that it follows the sun. The sun does NOT move so it remains the same. Translation astrology/zodiac/horoscopes aren't exactly the same thing though for as long as we've known it they have been. So while your child (and you technically) were not born under the stars of your horoscope your child (and you) are still part of that horoscope. I read multiple articles on this because there is no way I went from being a Gemini to a Taurus... NO WAY. And I was right :)

I may have mixed up part of the explanation, but the end result is the same.
