California Dreamin

As life has proven to be a bit challenging this week, my brain has been unable to process too many tasks at one time, including thinking and typing.  Lucky you, because that means that my post will be short and sweet. 

I have pulled some of my favorite images from Brown Design (yes, Ryan Brown from Flipping Out....best.show.ever) for your viewing pleasure.  I have these saved on my computer and will often go back to them for inspiration.  Time to share the wealth...if you haven't spied them already. 

Side Note:  It occurred to me that my favorite designers are Cali-based.  I know I am a California girl at heart, which endlessly surprises me about myself. 

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite images from Brown Design from a great LA Times article published last August. 

Sputnik Chandy.  Custom louvered china cabinet.  West Elm candlesticks.  High-low at its best!

Chinoiserie touches a go go...Aside from the chandelier, the cabinets were designed by Brown. Custom fretwork. 

Check out the double moulding.  It's the attention to detail that is unreal!

I had to include...this is my favorite chandelier, and I hope that it will be installed in our dining room in the next year or so??
